Newborns

I love having a newborn! There is nothing like it, I don't even mind getting up during the night. I love the newborn reflexes, you know the grasping hand, the curling of the toes. I am easily entertained by these automatic reflexes that newborns do. My favorite newborn thing is when they stretch the back. All three of my kids have done this, whether or not this is a reflex I don't know. But I love it when Kaden arches his back, pulls his legs up, curls his hands into fists and puts them next to his cheeks and purses his lips. This is so cute and I enjoy it anew every time he does it. I don't have any picture mid stretch but I do have two pictures of him as he finishes stretching. Both while sitting with grandma. I've said it once but I'll say it again. I LOVE NEWBORNS.
