Sometimes Alexis says thing that just crack me up. This morning I asked her if she wanted me to make a lunch or if she wanted to buy a lunch. She asked me what was on the menu, so we pulled the menu down and read it. On the menu for today is something called a "Mexican Grandido" when I read this to her she got all excited and said that it sounded yummy. Personally I think this sounds gross but if she likes it.... Anyways afraid she had hurt my feelings she then looks at me and says "Mom, it's not that I don't want you to make my lunch it's just that everything on the menu sounds so good." She is so thoughtful of others!
Today is the first day all by myself. Up until now I have had my Mom or Tyler to help me out. As I dropped Alexis off at school I looked around and realized we were late. Now I don't understand how we were late seeing as how I still had a minute to spare, but we were. I looked at Alexis and apologized for getting her to school late and she looks at me and says "It's ok Mom you're still learning"

Those are priceless comments. This is a great way to record them. Make sure you never lose them so you can share them with her when she is older. And let her try new foods! It's good for her. Especially if it's stuff you'll never make her.
I just picked her up and she loved the "Mexican Grandido" and I say good for her, but if she is looking to try other mexican food than she is going to have to go with you Mindy. Because well... you all know my feelings on any sort of mexican food.

Hey wait a minute.... What is all of this talk of Talbots not liking mexican food! I love mexican food... it is just Brooke that doesnt like it... trust me, Alexis isnt the anomoly that it appears... so, who wants to get an enchilada?
