Broken Foot

Friday night while Tyler was at dialysis I went over to my neighbors house to ask them a question they didn't answer the door at first so I turned to leave and as I did so I spun on my foot. I must not have been on the step all the way because the next thing I knew I was falling down the stairs. I put ice on it and waited until the next day before going to the doctor. I went the next morning where I was informed that I had broken the major weight bearing bone on my foot. It's called the 1st metatarsal-proximal. I have to go see an orthepedic dr tomorrow. I will be on crutches for at least 6-8 weeks. Here is a picture of my xray. You can see on the bottom the mesh of bones that eventually lead to my big toe. Yeah that is the break. It's supposed to be smooth like the other 4 toes.
