An Day with Starches and Oils

I bought a box of yams and sweet potatoes, as well as a bag of regular potatoes from Sam's Club and I wasn't eating them fast enough so I needed to do something with them. I spent Saturday making potato chips and fries out of the yams and potatoes. Here is the result. I decided I love yam potato chips way better than regular. Oh and the two pictures at the bottom are for my mom. Mom this is the difference between yams and sweet potatoes. Yes there is a difference. I forgot to take pictures of the potato chips. They didn't last long.

These are yam fries.
These are regular fries.
Mom, these are yams.
and these are sweet potatoes. Before they were
cooked and skinned they looked the same.

Hmm, so it was a success then!? It must have been if they didn't last long. I should try that sometime... Sounds good!

I thought they were a success! Regular fries hold no interest for me anymore

Yummy... my stomach want's more... my heart and the resulting rise in blood pressure... not so much... but they were yummy!

ok so Brooke is mad because I didn't make a comment so here goes. I would love some of those fries. The look very yummy and they are my favorite. Thanks for the pictures and instruction1
