Loose Tooth

Ok so am I really old enough to have a child loosing her teeth? This is the first loose tooth in our house and Alexis had been whining about it for the last two weeks and I was sick of it. So when she came to me whining again I asked to look at it and I yanked it out. This might sound cruel and maybe it was but if you had been here the last two weeks you might understand. Besides the tooth was way past ready to come out. She was so happy!! Now my next problem was the tooth fairy. I remember when I was little getting a quarter when my tooth came out. So the tooth fairy figured with inflation that it should be 75 cents to a dollar so the tooth fairy gave her a dollar because that is what was in her wallet. Apparently her friends all get quarters. The tooth fairy now feels that a dollar is a bit much.
